This dialog is activated by selecting the Merge Layers... command from the Graph Menu.
This tool is most valuable for users having imported 2D plot windows with overlapping layers from OriginLab project files. Since the overlapping layers are combined into a single plot layer, the artefacts that may occur when exporting the 2D plot windows or when moving or resizing them are thus eliminated.
During the merging operation QtiPlot copies all curves and objects from the Source Layer and attaches them to the top and right axes of the Destination Layer. The scale divisions of the top and right axes are also copied to the Destination Layer.
If the Keep Source Graph option is checked QtiPlot creates a new 2D plot window with the result of the merging operation, otherwise the merging is done in-place, the Source Layer being deleted at the end of the process. It is possible to undo the merging operation in this case.
